Utilizing our award-winning proprietary software we are able to offer complete and customizable communications solutions to meet the demands of every size business.

Sangoma has been recognized by a multitude of leading analysts. Our go-to-market strategy focuses on providing products, solutions, and services that support a robust channel partner ecosystem which includes resellers, interconnects, MSPs, VAR’s, distributors, and Master Agents. While this is a remote position we are looking for someone who is located in the territory which includes the following areas: Charlotte, Raliegh, Charleston, Greenville, and Columbia.

The Channel Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the channel. To meet their objectives the CAM will identify new resellers/agents to recruit, and develop and expand relationships with resellers in the territory. This will include product training, sales support, and opportunity management.

You Role:

Determine where resellers are needed in the territory.

Work with channel team to recruit new partners.

Negotiate reseller contracts.

Set reseller sales goals.

Provide on-site demonstration of products.

Educate resellers about the tools and programs to make them successful.

Provide resellers with sales training.

Conduct regular reseller business reviews.

Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to drive partner revenue.

Document and manage all activities and communications in our CRM system.

Meet reseller sales quota in the territory.

Assist resellers in closing opportunities through joint sales calls, assistance with quotations, and special pricing.

Manage reseller productivity improvement plans, demotions, and terminations.

Additional projects and duties as assigned.

Your Background:

Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience in IT networking, telephony or SaaS software.

Proven experience hitting or exceeding quota.

Ability to travel up to 12 nights per month within the territory.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Experience in IP telephony sales is a plus.

MS Office proficiency including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with Safesforce.com is a plus.

Good understanding of IT networking and telephony.
